Spicy Peanut Butter Sauce - Serves 2
- 2 tbsp smooth peanut butter
- plant milk/water (or mix)
- 1 1/2 heaped tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- chilli flakes (to taste)
- chilli powder (to taste)
- cayenne pepper (to taste)
- cajun (to taste)
- 1-2 tsp buffalo hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the peanut butter in a saucepan at a low heat so it doesn't burn then add a small amount of milk/water into the saucepan and mix.
- Stir and heat until it begins to thicken. Add more milk/water into the saucepan then add the nutritional yeast along with all the spices, the sriracha and hot buffalo sauce, if you're using any.
- Add more milk/water if the sauce is too thick, like-wise if the sauce needs to be thickened add more nutritional yeast.
The spices can be swapped - you do you!
